Casino Games

SLOTS

Penthouse Casino boasts the best selection of slot machines in Ireland. There are progressive jackpot machines, Mega Jackpots and more. There are also plenty of the standard slots that you’d expect to find in the best casinos around. There are bonus games, scatters, wilds and machines with games, such as Dragons Pearl, Admiral Nelson and Bells of Fire. Every Friday they run a slot club with prizes available.

BLACKJACK

This most popular of all casino games, which is also known as 21, is about mixing your luck with some smart decision making to take the game to the house. Penthouse Casino use six decks and offer sidebets for the likes of a three-of-a-kind, straight flush or three-of-a-kind suited.

At the time of writing, there’s nothing else particularly different about Penthouse Casino’s way of playing the game, so if you’ve experience of playing Blackjack elsewhere then you’ll know exactly what you’re doing here.

ROULETTE

Roulette is another of the casino industry’s most popular games, largely because it offers some of the best odds against the house in the business. The Penthouse Casino variation of the game follows the European rule of having thirty-six numbered boxes and one zero.

OTHER GAMES

You’d be disappointed if you went to a casino and you couldn’t play the likes of roulette and Blackjack. But plenty of places offer more options than that and Penthouse Casino is no exception. Here is what else you can play:

Baccarat / Punto Banco

Perhaps best known as the game that James Bond enjoys playing the most, Baccarat is one of the oldest casino games around. Penthouse Casino’s variation of it offers a ‘no tax’ game, meaning you’ll be paid 1 to 1 for a winning hand, with only a couple of exceptions that are clearly explained.

Poker

Poker is one of the most popular games around. Penthouse Casino regularly runs Texas Hold’em poker tournaments. They are strictly of that variety of the game and the tournaments start at 8.30pm on the dot unless the casino announce otherwise. They’re run from Friday to Monday and have different rules for each tournament.

There are also numerous special events run at Penthouse Casino, such as a Poker Festival with €10,000 prize pool and numerous cash games. The tournaments are part of the Super Poker League and the Poker Player Pay Day promotion.

Bars & Restaurants

There is a nice bar area here and you can also get a bite to eat, though it would be untrue to call this a ‘restaurant’ as such.

Membership

The only way to get into the casino is with a membership as it is classed as a ‘private members club’, but don’t let that put you off going. Registration as a member is free and is easy enough to do. The most important thing is that you have a valid photo ID to confirm your membership.

Player Rewards

Penthouse Casino offer a rewards program that sees its users receive things like hotel stays, meals at the casino, show tickets and more. It is based on your game turnover and your points are valid for ninety days.

Getting There

The Penthouse Casino is located within the Wright Venue Complex in Swords. It’s about two minutes drive from Dublin airport, so it’s not the easiest place to get to if you’re having a night out in the centre of town. Swords Airside Industrial Estate bus stop is just moments away from the club.
